BabycareAdvice.com collects a user's IP address automatically in order to conduct system administration and site analysis. BabycareAdvice.com will however use IP addresses to identify visitors who threaten our service, site or clients.

BabycareAdvice.com contracts with PayPal.com to provide online credit card transactions. To ensure safe transfer of your credit card details PayPal.com automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer using the Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL).

Registration

To use the appointment service available on this web site, you will need to register. Our site's registration system requires you to give us information such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number, country of residence and your child's name and date of birth. This information is used for appointment purposes only. You are able to review and change your personal profile at any time.

Once you are registered, you will be provided with your own private management center where you can view consultants' diaries and book or reschedule BabycareAdvice.com appointments. To log in you will be required to enter your e-mail address and choose your own unique password. You are the only person with access to your management center and the information contained within.

Consultant Diaries

To protect our clients' privacy, only available appointment times are displayed in each consultant's diary. When an appointment has been booked the details are removed from view.

Confidentiality

Consultants are bound to confidentiality by a Nursing Professional Code of Practice. During your appointment, your consultant may make and store brief notes on advice given, in order to assist with any necessary follow-up. This information is stored in secured data base and can only be accessed by your consultant.

Chat room transcripts are irretrievable once you exit the chat room. All records are automatically deleted, though you are welcome to save a copy of them on your computer (simply save them as a text document before closing the chat room)
